As a founder and Managing Director, Rachit, is an astute tanker industry professional, with extensive knowledge of ship management, marine operations and quality assurance.
A Master Mariner, his previous work experience includes stints with oil majors ExxonMobil and BP, in a variety of roles including vetting, incident investigations, inspections, and Quality Assurance.
RACHIT commenced his shipping career at sea in 1996 and has sailed for 11 years on a variety of tanker vessels up to the rank of Master Mariner.

Master Mariner with 15 years of sailing experience, Sahil co-founded Safe Lanes Innovation, with a vision to focus on innovation in Quality Management.
After his sailing carrier on board Chemical tankers, Sahil gained 5 years of shore experience in Safety, Quality, Vetting and Chemical Tanker Operations before joining Safe Lanes Team.
Sahil has a Dual Degree Executive MBA from BI Norwegian Business School, Oslo & Nanyang Business school, Singapore. He has also completed a Management Program on ‘Entrepreneurship & Innovation’ from Hass Business School, University of California.

Nitin is a nifty Maritime Professional, heading the Marine Assurance department at Safe Lanes.
A Master Mariner with vast knowledge for Quality Assurance and Ship operations. After sailing majority of the time with BP Shipping, the move to shore in 2013 offered varied experience in the respective roles.

Master Mariner with sailing experience of over 20 years, Vijay has sailed on variety of vessel types including Bulk Carriers and Tankers.
Vijay moved ashore in 2014 as a trainer in a maritime institute in India, where he worked for a year before joining Safe Lanes team in 2015. Vijay presently heads India operations.
